Wish you could schedule a two hour layover between planes in Missoula… but we’re WAY down the list when it comes to reaching readers… doesn’t make economic sense.
1.1 million folks in the 4th largest state… Hard to get enough together for a BBQ when it’s a day’s drive to the other end of the state even with an 85MPH speed limit
I’m just going to have to find my way back to Utah for an event or two!
Why no Knoxville, Tennessee stop?
Because the same answer I give for the previous 10,000 times I’ve been asked Why Not City X? Because there are a few hundred US cities, 365 days in the year, I go where Baen’s marketing manager wants to send me, and at some point I’ve got to write books and stuff.
Deer Bane manager.. PLease send LArry and LAwDog to Denver to see Sarah, and sign books and Bugs Bunny t shirts
Will there ever be an MHI Omnibus 2 or Grimnoir Omnibus?
Yes!!!! Ill see you in arizona!!!!!
Larry, if you would like to get some range time while you are here in Austin I’d love to host you in the Patriot’s Club at The Range in Austin. Cigar bar included. JWT
I’ll stick my hand out the window and high five you as you pass through Houston on I-10. Also will try to make it to the Austin signing.
I thought the publish date was 8/1, will people at the tour stops before then get an early crack at the hard cover?
I got notification from Amazon my copy will be arriving tomorrow. That’s their release date, anyway.
Shows what I get for thinking (or believing the Baen website).
Larry, I can’t wait! St. Pete Florida stop is right by my office. I finally get to meet my literary hero.
Hopefully, there won’t be a Milo-type protest outside the University Bookstore in Seattle when the International Lord of Hate visits, whipped up by some SJW neo-puritan.
Probably won’t. School is out and there are parties to go to.
that could be real interesting, as there are more than a few of us who would happily wear the flaming warthog who will be there. Fugitive recovery, private security and LEO types. And we do tend to be a mite bit temperamental if you interrupt our off time with such sillyness as a riot. Tends to make us communicate via blunt force persuasion
There wasn’t. There were about 50-80 appreciative fans of his, men and women, old and young, who braved the UW Campus to attend.
Larry Correia isn’t a big enough ‘fish’ for the left-wing blackshirts to protest over. The left-wingers probably realize they won’t get laid because they proudly announced that they protested a nobody science fiction author who can’t even bring in 500 people to his book signing.
Oh crap!! You’re ging to be in San Antonio. That’s just about an hour from where I’m going to be. BUT………. Band Camp.
The audible version of the book is now available for pre-order on Amazon.
Cool! Gonna come see you in Seattle and have you sign my copy of Son of the Black Sword!
Quick question: are you going to speak or read on the tour, or is it more of a book signing? I’ve never been to one but will see you in Dallas!
Well, shoot. I’ll be out of town when you roll through Mysterious Galaxy. 🙁 Catch you next time, I guess. Have fun on the tour! Maybe you can finally get that 500 person signing you’ve been pining for all this time. 😉
Gonna be at Dragoncon this year?
Got my copy on Tuesday. It’s #2 on the list after “Through Fire”.
Have to see if I can arrange a contact to get it signed. Maybe have my friend carry it to LTUE…
See ya in Arizona!
Larry, what’s your opinion on the latest SDCC SLCC legal mess?

Florida has some great haunted sites to explore! For some more places you can go here http://21ghosts.info/
Looking forward to seeing you in San Antonio. Um, you can do a good Brad Thor signature, right? No reason.
I think he can do a pretty good Brad Torgerson (AKA Straw Brad) sig, but you’ll need to bring the crayon…
Woody! Maybe Glyph will want to come this time.
Larry, while you’re out in Austin, make sure you eat at the Salt Lick! Great BBQ and wine!
It would be great to have a Monster Hunter Nation Saltlick night. Though I feel like Rudy’s has better brisket, and it’s a lot closer to downtown.
Driving in from Oklahoma with my brother for the Dallas signing.
Hello Mr. Correia. You probably don’t remember me ,which is cool, since I only ever contacted you once a few months (or weeks?) ago with a facebook comment about how much I love your anti-hero Agent Franks and briefly pitched an idea about a franks spin off (Chronicles of Agent Franks). Anyways, the reason I brought this up is because I noticed that your “Edit” in the “About me” tab on this website talks about how someone brought it to your attention that the site hadn’t been updated for a while. This made me remember that comment I had posted, since I had also apologized for posting on your Facebook with fan boy crap because I couldn’t figure out what was wrong with the monster hunter nation website. Was that me you were talking about? I don’t know why, but the possibility that the first contact I made with one of my favorite authors (or any author for that matter) caused the website to start back is pretty cool (if its true)
Anyways you probably not gonna read this, but just in case I gotta ask about your book tour. Its the first i’ve heard of it, and according to the schedule you will be in Austin on august 2, and I’m relatively close by. However, I’m unfamiliar with how all this works can i just show up or is it something I need tickets for. Also what do people do at these events? I’ll definitely try to be there if I can.
P.S. I was not trying to re- pitch my idea I was just pointing out what the facebook comment had been about.
CRAP CRAP CRAP. Didn’t get on the computer and see this until Sunday. Been waiting to get a personally signed book and meet you since the days of MHI( I got one of the original printings you did) on The High Road
Just finished Siege last night.
You bastard!
How long do I have to wait for #7?! Ugh.
Well done, Larry. Really enjoyed it.
The next book Guardian is being written by Sarah Hoyt and Larry. I think Larry mentioned that they’re past draft 1 or 2. Since you’ve read Siege, you know when it will take place.
Next Ringo is 2018. No date yet for Sarah’s book.
Wonderful time with Mr Correia and Mr Butler at Twig this afternoon. My thanks to both.
The Monster Hunter series and this image remind me of each other a lot – especially MHI’s recruitment strategy. Pity about the MCB’s Prime Reason 🙂
Meanwhile, you can read Sarah’s serial abuse of poor Grant in an unrelated work over at accordingtohoyt, com, starting here… https://accordingtohoyt.com/2016/08/11/dark-fate/
Whatever the most recent entry in the series happens to be is the better link, since it will include all the previous links.
Of course, searching her blog for Dark Fate usually works as well.

San Antonio stop was big success. Store was happy, fans were happy, Larry was happy, DJ Butler rocked!
“DJ Butler rocked!”
In Austin too, both metaphorically and literally.
I now feel bad for not replying at https://monsterhunternation.com/2017/07/12/question-about-my-texas-book-signings/ though. There were about a hundred people there in the end, and the store only had about 40 chairs ready.
Larry, thanks for handling the signing so quickly. I’d never been to a book signing before, I wasn’t expecting nearly that size crowd or that level of pre-signing entertainment, and if the line hadn’t been moving at a decent rate I would have had to give up and go put kids to bed.
I think with these crowds he’s definitely hit C-List celebrity status.
https://monsterhunternation.com/2014/07/24/the-official-alphabetical-list-of-author-success/
Butler was definitely awesome, too. Really wish audible had his book recorded, and when I asked him about it he said a company had to talk to Baen about a recording deal. Went ahead and sent audible a message suggesting they consider it, for what that’s worth.
In Dallase, Butler to signed a copy of Witchy Eye “Love thy neighbor as thyself…or else you go to hell.” Good times.
Nothing in the Northeast? Any chance your doing NYC Comic Con this year? If you bring patches, I’ll be happy to take them off your hands…
Today I’m making it to Uncle Hugo’s despite the awesome power of Dairy Farmer Privilege. No Libertycon for me, so hopefully this trip will help me get my Sci-Fi geekery indulged.
Dallas event was great fun. Enjoyed the Q&A. I found the description of manatee camouflage particularly enjoyable.
Mr. Correia:
Thanks for the book signature at Uncle Hugo’s today. Adding your job title of “Combat Accountant” below the sig-line was nice of you.
I’m just re-reading the whole sequence, and am in the middle of “Grunge” so I won’t be starting “Siege” for another day. Looking forward to it as delayed gratification.
Hope you have a great tour, although the schedule looks grueling. Take care.

I suggest *not* visiting this one unless heavily armed .. there’s gotta be a Shelob under there somewhere.
