The Audie awards are coming, and some critics think I should win. :)

I love how “paranormal” is the division where they stick pretty much everything. So out of all of the thousands of audibooks out there, the final five for best paranormal are two of my books from two totally different series, two romances, and a supernatural thriller.

The Burning Throne, Episode 30: Return of the Dead Moon
The Monster Hunters, in stores now

  1. Congratulations Larry! Dang well earned. Hope you get first & second.

I sure hope Oliver Wyman does the Legion reading too!

  2. I agree with the author’s vote…Hard Magic was fantastic – both the material AND the narration.

  3. I can definitely say that these audio books are excellent. I hope you win, Larry. It will be a crime if you don’t.

  4. Well considering Hard Magic is one of the best fantasy novels of 2011 or diesel punk or alternative history or urban fantasy or paranormal or whatever, it should definitely win something. I didn’t check out the audio version but I’m sure it was fantastic

  5. Hmm. He thinks MHI is ‘just this side of gun porn’. So definitely there’s some room for improvement. 🙂

  6. I cant even wait any more on your books to get the normal versions, I just buy the arc’s then get the audio book after it comes out.

Same with David Weber, John Ringo, Lois Bujold, David Drake.

Heh, you sir are in my top 5 authors. (Easily) God I sound like a fanboy…
