Passing of a good man

I just learned that Byron Quick has passed away.

I never had the opportunity to meet Byron in person, but I’ve known him online for years.   He was a funny, smart, clever, honorable, honest, just all around good guy.  We were on staff together at THR, and I always looked forward to speaking with him.  Byron was one of the first people who read my fiction and encouraged me to keep writing.

He will be missed.

  1. You know how when you’ve been on a forum for awhile, you subconsciously know whether or not you’re going to agree with a member before you even read a post? Byron was like that for me. As a moderator, he was great at saving threads. He will be missed indeed.
