My family did the same thing. My grandpa insisted his kids all speak English first and foremost. The Portuguese who came here and didn’t learn English really pissed him off. So my Dad was fluent but never spoke it to his kids, so I grew up not knowing it.

Just lol, I was planning on reading it, but I was (in the fantasy world where I have the self control to wait before purchasing a Larry Correia work) pondering whether I should wait til the sequel came out, to spare my nails the torture. This simile has wrecked that, already unlikely, train of thought. George Washington and the Punisher? Oh my, yes. Those sample chapter were evil, BTW Larry! *scowl*

I was already going to get it, but the whole cross between George Washington and the Punisher amped up the anticipation.
