Kickstarter Update: Only 60 hours to go

The MHI Employee Handbook and RPG has entered the home stretch.

156% funded, $70,366, 60 hours remaining.

We just broke our $70K strech goal, so we will now be including an additional PDF of MHI adventures. All of the upper tier pledges have been claimed and there is only one of the $250 level left.

If you’ve been procrastinating jumping in, now is the time. We’ve already reached a bunch of stretch goals. The upper tier folks get all of this stuff added on automatically, but these others can be added to your order. We’ve got MHI dice, we’ve got the infamous Luska patch. Everybody gets an additional PDF of 13 bad guys and monsters and an additional PDF of 4 MHI adventures.

Our next goal is at $75k, and that one will lower the cost of any additional books you want to put on your order. And we’ve got more stuff planned after that.

So we’re down to the very end and you guys have made this project a huge success. Please tell your friends and spread the word. Thanks.

Okay everybody it is that time again. Today we are going to Book Bomb the anthology of science fiction horror, SPACE ELDRITCH.  Here is the Amazon link.

Okay, this is how a Book Bomb works. The goal is to get as many people to buy it in the same day on Amazon, and that will make the ratings go up higher and higher. The higher it gets, the better it will do, the more people see it, the better it sells.

My goal today is to get this baby as high up as we can. There is no reason we can’t get to number one in some of these subcategories. And Space Eldritch deserves it because the stories are awesome. I thought it was such a nifty idea that I wrote the foreward.

I know most of these guys. They are friends of mine, and they are great writers. Brad Torgersen is in my game group, and was Hugo/Campbell/Nebula nominated this year. He and Bob Defendi were both Writers of the Future finalists. Nathan Shumate has forgotten more about Lovecraftian horror than most folks will ever know. David J. West and Michael Collings are both extremely solid writers. And Dave Butler is taller than me and has possibly the finest mustache since Tom Selleck. Howard Tayler wears large boots! You really can’t go wrong.

Please tell your friends, MyTweetFacePage, you blog, your coworkers, whatever. Why do these guys deserve a book bomb? Because every one of them is a darn good writer, the stories in here are awesome across the board, and many of them are friends of mine, who I want to see have great success, get legions of fans, and go on to write lots more cool stuff. 🙂

So buy Space Eldritch today! If we make that number go up through out the day I will post more fun (absolutely true) facts about the authors of Space Eldritch.

A independant bookstore in need of help

From My Shelf bookstore is a small indy shop in Pennsylvania. They’ve been fans of mine since I originally started. They are the only bookstore in their area, and they are in danger of getting shut down so the landlord can make room for some other stuff. They are asking for help.

We have been served an eviction notice by our landlord. Although we are not exactly sure yet how we will handle this, it would be extremely helpful to us — personally, and to the bookstore, and our community — if you would write a short note telling our landlord, David Zavetsky, how much the bookstore means to you, your family, your kids, the school, our community, etc. We need to show him how much we’ve been doing here, and what a mistake he’s making. By the way, he has NOT given an eviction notice to Pop’s Culture.

MHI Kickstarter Update: LAST WEEK!

The MHI Employee Handbook and RPG has entered its last week of funding.

Our next stretch goal is around $70,000, and that is a PDF of additional adventures. Please tell your friends about this Kickstarter. We are almost there.

A call for artists. (sort of an MHI Kickstarter Update)

Okay guys, we’ve started working on the MHI Employee handbook. We’ve got an awesome art director. Rueben is the man on this topic, and has designed a lot of other books. Now we will be gathering up artists for the project. I know that I’ve got many artists here, and this is paying-professional work.

So if you are interested in doing something for the MHIRPG please reply in the comments here with a link to your portfolio or webpage showing off your style.  We’ll take a look at it and then get in contact with you.
