In the article Oldman talks about his craft and making movies, but it gets really interesting when he gets political. He talks about the silencing of some groups in entertainment, the double standards, and the career sabotage. He also calls Nancy Pelosi names, and that always makes for a good time.

How awesome is Gary Oldman? So awesome that you really do read Playboy for the articles.

 

Mostly posting so I can host the pics somewhere so that I can post these to the Privateer Press forum for feedback.

I’m trying a new basing experiment. I wanted to make a splash effect. I green stuff and kitty littered a base, painted it, then  cut bits of blister plastic into the splashes and glued them down. Then I brushed it all with Woodland Scenics Realistic Water.

It actually looks nicer in person too, very translucent and shiny, but I think I need to get rounder shapes in the water next time. The hard points make it look more like ice.

I’m reading Count to a Trillion now. (started it over a week ago, but have had zero free time) It is mind bending. Very good, big brain, big idea, epic sci-fi.

EDIT: I was wrong. It is actually AWAKE IN THE NIGHT that is free right now.

Since I apparently “lack nuance” and anything I say on this topic is automatically attacked, here is another piece from someone who actually understands how self defense works in the real world.

I posted Mike Williamson’s excellent piece earlier. Here is one from author Peter Grant. If you don’t know Peter, he has been everywhere and done everything. He’s been a warrior and a priest, and he has personally looked into the abyss of human evil.
