  1. Very much looking forward to it, pre-ordered it weeks ago. After the series is complete, I hope there will be more short stories set in the same universe.

  2. I already bought the November Baen Bundle, and just finished re-reading the first 4 books.

Is it disturbing or merely appropriate that ‘Graveyard Of Demons’ will be published on Election Day? šŸ˜€

  3. Word of advice, lower your expectations and expect for the coming months to involve many people who’d quickly transition to a more Sweet Baby Inc type of model employee for DEI ESG BRIDGE points, being smug AF

Really, I am wondering if Larry Fink and co are ever gonna stop their business pogroms

Also, I have tried looking for ā€œpre-orderā€ on BAEN, somehow can’t find it

      1. I tried doing preorder of ebooks before on BAEN

I can only buy the ebooks when they are already published

I woke up very early, too early to be healthy, not that I even liked it and now I have the book

I guess I can read it whilst I watch it be affirmed that guys like BlackRock truly will be able to go into overdrive with their ESG DEI BRIDGE stuff alongside Yuri Bezmenov’s Long March….those colleges were frankly worse than useless at least decades ago

  4. FINALLY!!! Thank you Larry. Honestly, this has been one of the best fantasy series I’ve read and can’t wait to finish it…in February. Can’t wait!

  5. When should we expect the audiobook for Graveyard of Demons? There is no preoder for it up on Amazon currently.

    1. It was up when this was posted. I pre-ordered my copy on Amazon five minutes after this posted. Just search the name of the book.

  6. I have to say, I love this series. The one thing that baffles me is why, with stuff like this out there, nobody ever thinks to adapt it into a miniseries or a movie franchise and REMAIN TRUE TO THE SOURCE.

    1. Hollywood is dumb and crazy, has been that way for decades

Plus, true to source? For every show or movie, you get a bunch of ā€œconsultantsā€ introducing near random changes, so they can get some cash from the thing. Makes the plot needlessly complicated and/or stupid, that it’s a miracle anything has a coherent plot.

      1. The Bollywood version would at least be fun. And the fight scenes would be EPIC. Physics and sanity defying, but epic.

        1. To whoever hates Larry and takes a shit on him

I think they will be VERY confused on how to call or consider the Bollywood Adaptation of his book series as being racist

Or that Bollywood even exists, like I bet to them, it’s mostly just the UK and USA’s live action entertainment that exists or matters

          The world is BIG

It’s weird knowing just how many Iive action show and movie industries there are

And India has more than just Bollywood

  7. A great time for Larry products. I can’t wait for the book to come out and I just played my first game of monster hunter miniature game. I and my sons love it. I played a three-player hunt with my boys, and it was a blast. If you have the expansion, I don’t see a problem playing up to 4 players. If you make your own map maybe up to 6 if you have no problem with monster hunters killing each other. But you can always think of it like rival teams going after that big PUFF.

  8. Nice! I might make myself wait to read it until I roll back through the whole series again.

But I’m def gonna buy it now

  9. Just finished reading Graveyard. February never seemed so far away! (Baen Monthly Bundles FTW!)
Thanks Larry! This Saga has been wonderful and this volume was awesome. Love the Rig Veda like setting. Gives your tale an exotic flavor.

  10. I only finished reading Graveyard of Demons today, been low on energy this past week, some breathing problems making sleep harder

That said, I will say this, the book was really good, my only problem with it and admittedly most books nowadays is that I can’t visualize everybody in anime/manga form….yeah it’s a very dumb problem

The fight scenes really do feel like there’s lots of calculation put into them, even without the Ancestor Blade in play. I am not sure how you studied up all of this stuff, but when it comes to combat of the more physical variety, I prefer it when there’s a lot of thought put into it both in individual and unit combat

So characters really do feel like expert fighters

Plotlines feel like they’re coming together, with disasters being turned into opportunities for even the protagonists. The antagonists are shown to have smarts and aren’t invincible and know it.

I hope for the last book, all the specifics come together. Maybe some answers too as to whether or not, Lok is the only human populace on the planet. Or if there are humans in other worlds. Whether the Demons are extradimensional eldritch horrors or creations of science, as so far, whilst intelligent, I don’t think I’ve seen any using magic themselves

  11. Off topic, but with all the caterwauling since Trump won a gain you may want to update and repost your “2A for Libs” post from last time.

  12. Got it last week and been enjoying it quite a bit. I have to say I did not expect to give a little bit of sad, teary eyed sniff of romance in the midst of mass murder, but there you go.

Also, My teen daughter is ticked, since I won’t let her read it until I’m done and I read it slower than she would. Little does she know that her griping is just fuel for my dark, dad soul.

  13. I love this series and have been telling everyone about it! One question I have is about the hardcover editions. The first three books had beautiful color maps on the front and back endpapers, but books four and five do not. Is there a reason that this changed halfway through the series? I thought the endpapers really increased the quality of the book!

I noticed the BAEN logo changed from red to black as well, does that have something to do with it?

Thank you, Larry, for writing this series!
