The 3rd episode of my Lost Planet Homicide series is out today on Audible.com. If you’ve not tried this series yet, it is awesome. Think gritty cop show in space. I love writing these. I pitched the series as Space Bosch.
Best part is the entire series is FREE for Audible plus members. Here’s the new one-
Episode 1: Lost Planet Homicide
Episode 2: Ghosts of Zenith
And for the FAQ, this series will eventually be in print but I don’t know when. For now they are an Audible exclusive.
Ah, excellent. Thank you for the heads up.
Sounds good (probably great). I wonder why I haven’t heard of it before now?
Possibly because it only seems to be available on Audible? How about print versions? Amazon lists nothing but the Audible links.
He says right in the post that currently they are only on Audible.
Yeah, that was my point. It came out in 2021 and there isn’t a print version. So most of us will never get to read it since it was apparently designed and written to stay there.
The post literally says that it will eventually be in print. Maybe work on your reading comprehension.
Yes, that’s what Audible paying for an EXCLUSIVE means
At one point Larry said he wanted to put out five of these then put them together into a book. So you figure about a year and half for each to come out, that puts you in 2027. Then add a year for the Audible exclusive on the last story. I would not expect a complete series of five stories in print before 2028. But I would be happy to be wrong about that.
Awesome! I really enjoy the tone you set in this series it feels so different than Monster Hunter or Saga of the Forgotten Warrior and I’m just as hooked as on my favorites.
Can’t wait to see how you expand on this world, got my listening for tomorrow all set.
A fun and exciting listen.
Special kudos to Oliver Wyman, my favorite narrator on Audible. Does a great job distinguishing characters and expressing emotion without intruding on the story.
Also released on Audible.co.uk, for us over here on the other side of the pond. Which is great no need to wait.
It’s a really outstanding series. Lots of fun to listen to each one, and while each one stands on its own, it’s a great cohesive and gripping overall plot, story line, and world-building that gets better with each episode.
I hope there will be more coming, and thanks for putting it out there for us to listen to and enjoy.
Loved this one! Was cool to hear my name. Thank you, Larry, for doing that charity fundraiser years ago – I got to let my wife hear my name in a legit book and that was a wonderful moment.
If Larry can say, how many episodes will there be and how often they will drop? It seems like it’s about every two years.
