BOOK BOMB! Sins of Her Father by Mike Kupari

It is Book Bomb Day!

A Book Bomb is when we pick out a deserving author who could use a publicity boost, and get as many people as possible to buy their book in the same day on Amazon. The more people who buy, the higher it goes in the sales rankings. Once it gets on some bestseller lists, that gets it in front of even more new eyes. Success breeds success, the author gets new readers, and most importantly, the author GETS PAID.

Today’s Book Bomb is for my friend Mike Kupari’s brand new sci-fi novel, Sins of Her Father.

Many of you will recognize MIke’s name. That’s because he was my coauthor on the Dead Six series of thrillers. He’s launched his solo career doing sci-fi novels. And these are old school throw backs, to when sci-fi was fun adventure, with rocket ships and their brave crews visiting new worlds, meeting interesting people, and shooting them.

Mike is a great story teller. If you’ve not read him before, I’d recommend grabbing his other solo novel, Her Brother’s Keeper. Also, if you’ve not read Dead Six, Swords of Exodus, or Alliance of Shadows, by me and Mike, you are missing out. Those are a lot of fun.

A little about the author, Mike Kupari is a former EOD Tech. His first novel came out when he was stationed at a little FOB in Afghanistan. Now he’s living in Arizona. But I’ve known Mike for a long time. We wrote the story that would become Dead Six together, posting a couple thousand words every other day, all summer, live on an internet gun forum. We worked together at my gun store, and taught pistol classes together.

So please tell you friends, share the link, spread the word. Mike is a good dude, so let’s get him as many new readers as possible.

I’ll be updating the sales ranks as they change. Amazon used to update every hour, and that got crazy. But now they’ve instituted a long delay so we won’t really see a ton of movement until tonight. (assuming it is still the same was as last time)

Amazon Best Sellers Rank: #19,999 in Books (See Top 100 in Books)

Amazon Best Sellers Rank: #14,871 Paid in Kindle Store (See Top 100 Paid in Kindle Store)

EDIT:  We are moving up in the ranks

Amazon Best Sellers Rank: #11,810 in Books (See Top 100 in Books)

Amazon Best Sellers Rank: #7,881 in Books (See Top 100 in Books)

Amazon Best Sellers Rank: #2,998 Paid in Kindle Store (See Top 100 Paid in Kindle Store)

EDIT 3: Still climbing. It is hard to guess how many hours Amazon has the delay on right now.  They keep changing it on us. But, we’re now 2nd page on the Kindle bestseller lists. Top 20 is where it is at. So let’s keep flogging! 😀

Amazon Best Sellers Rank: #5,973 in Books (See Top 100 in Books)

Amazon Best Sellers Rank: #1,807 Paid in Kindle Store (See Top 100 Paid in Kindle Store)

Amazon Best Sellers Rank: #1,211 Paid in Kindle Store (See Top 100 Paid in Kindle Store)

  1. Hey, Larry. I’m just curious. Since Amazon owns audible now would it be possible to add in the audible ranks for when there is an audible version? There is in this case and I saw that you had his paperback and kindle ranks and I was wondering how it broke down. Does Amazon count the audible orders as the same as the kindle orders? Is that purchase as important? I figure you get paid but am not sure how the breakdown works.

    1. I’m not sure how that works actually. I know the two are connected because when they have a big sale for me on Audible, I see my Amazon author rank rise shortly after. But I always tell people to buy it whatever way makes them the most happy.

  2. At 12:14pm CST

  3. Bought mine. Kindle edition. I was looking forward to this book. Her Brother’s Keeper was great! I look forward to many more Mike Kupari books.

  4. Former EOD Tech?! I’ll likely buy his book but he can sit and wait ’til I’m good and ready.

  5. Off topic, but I managed to get my hands on momster hunter siege, and after the near perfect ending of the Grimnoir Chronicles, i had my hopes up,but in my opinion it felt a bit forced toward the end. I won’t go into detail here, and I know its an ARC, but what happened?

    1. That’s funny. In reality the ending of Warbound was far more rushed than the ending of Siege. On it I wrote exactly what I wanted to write, and the next book in the series actually overlaps with Siege in the timeline.
