Forgive the lack of blogging this week. I’ve got to get Grunge edited so you guys can get your crack… err… I mean eARC fix. But here is an interview I did with John Paul during SHOT show about the new MHI custom rifle.
It is when I watch videos like this that I am reminded I am so damned large. AR-10 series rifles normally look big on people. 🙂
Wendell told me that he felt you were kinda small, compared to him.
Well, to be fair he is like 2,000 pounds, so he’s got me beat.
Did your experience as a taller than average guy inform your initial imaginings of Jake Sullivan?
No, but it leaves him with an urge to slap around Carl Denham for interrupting his date.,.
Hey Larry,
This is off topic for this post but I don’t know where else to put it.
Did you know that Global Warming is also causing Sad Puppies? Someone needs to inform these people that the puppies are sad enough already.

Larry, you are a large man. And your visual impact is quite imposing.
But when you speak, it becomes immediately obvious you’re having fun and enjoying your success as you deserve to do. It makes you fun to be around.
Very cool rifle, by-the-way.
Nicely done! And a nice little rifle too! 🙂 And the research write off doesn’t hurt either!!!
Love your books and love the rifle. Longtime book fan. New to the site. Wish I didn’t live in a state that was so restrictive on guns. Keep up the great posts and books. How does someone get in on the ears action?
We could cut Larry in half and make two perfectly good authors outta him… 😀
Or one really big mess…
We could cut Larry in half…
You can try, but my money is on Larry.

Larry Correia has to pay the SBR tax on every rifle he buys.
Every time I see a picture of Larry’s holding a handgun I think “gee that’s a small one, is it a .22?” Then I realize “oh yeah, mutant hands”.
I am reminded of two “wow – that guy/these guys are big moments:
When I was a kid, my Dad listened to Asleep at the Wheel a lot. One day, they were playing some TV show. I remember watching Ray Benson sitting on a stool, singing and playing guitar and thinking….is the guitar miniature?…looks kinda like a mandolin. Then he stood up. Dude is like 6′ 7”.
Another story – I was in college and jumped in an elevator in one of the dorms. It was packed shoulder-to-shoulder and I was the smallest guy in there. I was about 6′ 3″, 275 lb at the time. It was a decent chunk of our offensive line. I think I said something like, “Damn, boys, I’m not always the biggest guy in the room…but I’ve never been the smallest.”

Meanwhile at Entertainment Weekly “Admitted crack-dealer Larry Correia…”
No, but seriously can’t wait – love that Monster Hunter has become a shared world which is a huge, huge credit to you Larry. By the way, is there anyway I can just start paying for your books on an installment plan?
What if I gave you say, $5 a month. Could I get regular hits that way instead of waiting for a post-rehab binge every so oftern?
Larry would stop each installment midchapter, midparagraph, mid sentence, midword: “Holly squeezed her t–” ILOH, remember?
Cool picture of Dillinger Gang Guns.
