Looks like the Warbound eBook is up early at Baen

It appears that the regular eBook for Warbound is available for download now directly from Baen. http://www.baenebooks.com/p-1918-warbound-book-iii-of-the-grimnoir-chronicles.aspx

I think you guys are really going to like this one.

And then go buy a hard copy on the week of August 6th. Because I really want to get a Grimnoir novel onto the NYT bestseller list. That is the sort of thing that gets movie producers to option stuff! 😀

EDIT: I am being told that it is downloadable on Amazon now too, if that is easier for you.  http://rcm-na.amazon-adsystem.com/e/cm?lt1=_blank&bc1=000000&IS2=1&bg1=FFFFFF&fc1=000000&lc1=0000FF&t=monshuntnati-20&o=1&p=8&l=as4&m=amazon&f=ifr&ref=ss_til&asins=1451639260

  1. Consider it done. Some lucky friends are going to get the set for Christmas and birthdays. Come to think of it, would Baen consider offering all three Grimnoir books as a boxed set? It would sell.

  2. Yeah, Baen releases eBooks 2 weeks early. Picked up Warbound when it came out and it was amazing. Really sad it’s over, but hoping for a short story our two revisiting some of the characters. I’d mention one in particular, but in the immortal words of River Song “Spoilers.”

  3. Hey Larry, if and when they do make the movie for Hard Magic please be there to kick sum ass and make sure that they don’t F things up.

  4. It popped up in my Amazon recommendations earlier this week so I checked into Baen and there it was. I got it on Sunday from the Baen store.

  5. Its available from amazon too. My phone doesnt like baen for some reason so I had to get mine from them today.

  6. Pre-ordered the audiobook on Audible just now. Pinchot does a great job with these books…looking forward to it!

  7. Handy note: Amazon Pre-Orders get the lowest price advertised between ordering and shipping. It is also common for me to get the book delivered the day of release.

I doubt if the discount cuts Larry’s commission any.

  8. Why is it that the insert picture is a wee bit more accurate than the cover art? At the end of chapter 5, you have picture of Sullivan with his Heavy/Brute Special BAR, but in all 3 novels, Sullivan is shown with a Tommy. I know Tommy is a bit more iconic and recognizable, but Sullivan was either using a Lewis or BAR in all of the novels.

  9. Some bookstores had the Warbound hardcover on the shelves on 7/26; that’s when I got mine. (And finished it yesterday. Good book.)

Will that still count toward your initial sales totals?
