It is in stores now! Please, tell your friends. Tweet it, Facebook it, carrier-pigeon, post it on your blog, whatever, but Monster Hunter Vendetta is out now.
If you like it, please post a review, especially on Amazon. If you don’t like it, then don’t post a review, because you will be wrong, and then nobody will like you on the internet anymore. Yay! 🙂
I’m still working on the Uncle Hugo’s orders. Simon & Schuster is the one at fault, not Uncle Hugos. I’m trying to see what I can do to expedite getting those out ASAP to you guys.
EDIT: I’m sticking this here for historical purposes, since Amazon updates every hour. I like to save the good ones. 🙂

Does this mean I can take my autographed pre-release review copy out of its secure undisclosed location?
I’ve already been praising it to all who will hear . . . or who I can corner.
I like it, and I haven’t even read it yet!
Hot diggity damn, I’m all over this like a fat kid on doughnuts!
My wife and I are not so patiently waiting to get our copy. I know there is going to be a fight, and I know I am going to lose 🙂 Oh wait, I have an idea where I can distract her and I might even win…

Admit it, Larry–you’re sitting on those so that we’ll be forced by impatience to go buy a second copy at our local bookstore and thus line your pockets with more coin!
Jeez,I wish I was that nefarious to think that far ahead. :p
Naw, I wouldn’t do that anyway, because those 300 books are going to the kind of people that write the positive reviews. I wanted those out last week. 🙂
When I get it is when I get it. I’m not worried about it. 🙂
Grabbed a copy yesterday at the local B&N. It was a good read. Next one almost ready? 🙂
I’m wrapping up the rough draft of MHA now.
Had I read a little more of your blog before commenting, I’d know that!
After the first two, I think you’ve really sold this particular reader the world you’ve conjured up. I look forward to the third installment!
I am with mark on this one. It is going to be a fight to pry it loose from my husband, but I think I am up to the challenge. Besides, he has to sleep sometime right?! =P
I am taking the copy and leaving on a PLANE!! ha ha… 🙂 Savanalady you don’t need to give my wife any ideas now..

Hey Larry,
Thanks for putting out a fun, fast paced adventure novel, without feeling the need to include gratuitous unnecessary sex scenes.
So often these days its hard for me to find media that keeps me entertained and doesn’t feel the need to include the characters bedroom activities.
I realize this may sound odd, but there are a good number of us who appreciate this about you.
Thanks.
I already bought one but oddly enough I bought it yesterday at a Borders in Carson City Nevada. Was that supposed to happen?
#722 right now.
Thanks for directing the loving masses towards my review at Elitist Book Reviews.
We’ll be posting an interview with Larry tomorrow.
i picked up my copy last night. I’m about 100 pages in and so far it’s awesome.
Waiting for my signed copies…..
By the way, the news came out today that the “Twilight” movies were originally supposed to be agents hunting vampires in the PNW:
http://rockinaseaofchaos.blogspot.com/2010/09/maybe-hollywood-is-ready-for-mhi-now.html
Sweet, patiently waiting…
I just went down to the B&N and picked up three copies for my brothers and sister, who dig MHI as much as I do.
My brother already has his copy and my sister squeeed like a fangirl when I told her I had her’s ready to go.
I’ll see if I can get them to write reviews for the book when they are finished reading them.
Larry,
I will never look at lawn ornaments the same way again. I salute you, Sir.
Yep! I saw at least 6-7 copies at the Borders on Metcalfe in Overland Park, KS (north store.)
Dangit! I wasn’t gonna wait for my pre-ordered copy, but no sooner do I read that MHV is officially out than my mother rings my cell phone: “I need to borrow your car for a few days. Mine’s in the shop.” And I couldn’t say no, ’cause technically it’s still my father’s car.
Well, on the other hand, I’ve been waiting for MHV since last July, so I can last a couple more days. I hope…
Numbah three at “hot new releases”

w00t!
Rock on, waiting for the signed copies. I guess I could post a review based on the first few “crack” chapters I read. I can’t wait to finish and give it the 5 stars I’m sure it deserves.
And it is Amazon’s “Larry Correia page”
http://www.amazon.com/Larry-Correia/e/B003VO9XUK/ref=sr_tc_tag_2?qid=1285644807&sr=1-2-ent
now this made my month! get to read some hell fire on some monsters! thanks!
Man, I preordered from Amazon *weeks* ago and they say my copy won’t ship until the 30th! WTF was the point of a preorder then?
I want to show you something. It’s Rex’s sad face:
:,-(
Still, I suppose the waiting will make the reading all the more awesome…
FWIW. I posted a review of MHI on my blog and if MHV is anywhere near as good (I ordered a signed copy) I’ll review it as well.
I clicked over to Amazon and posted my MHI review there as well. Hope it helps Larry.
@Larry,
Since Halloween is just around the corner how about an MHI / MHV costume contest?
I am anxiously awaiting my shipment from Uncle Hugo’s.
Almost tempted to hit B&N but I will not submit to you nefarious lan for multiple copies 😉 (Trying dificultly to restrain myself)
Couldn’t Resist. Hit Books-a-Mission at lunch. Now I get to keep my signed copy in good condition. 🙂
Any idea when Baen will have the ebook version released? Gotta have it on my Nook as well as in dead-tree, you know.
It is out now I think. Go to http://www.baen.com and click on the webscriptions tab.
still waiting on my uncle hugo copy 🙁
simon and schuster eh? perhaps they would like to say hello to my little friend!
Just posted an Interview I did with Larry over at Elitist Book Reviews:
http://elitistbookreviews.blogspot.com/2010/09/interview-with-larry-correia.html
I read the entire book in under 2 1/2 hours… awesome.
Wow. That is smoking quick. It is still 165,000 words, i.e. pretty darn big. You must read fast. 🙂
Larry, any idea how long Uncle Hugo is gonna take?
Good gravy I am finally done with the book and all I can say is WOW thank you for he phenomenal read and the many day dreams about if MHI was real. I am looking forward to the next books in the series with great anticipation and giddiness. And if I may I have a mental picture of agent Franks and it looks like Mr. bubbles from Lilo and stitch am I right on this???
