Into the Wild, a new Warmachine novel by me

Privateer Press just officially announced the sequel to Into the Storm, put up the cover, and a snippet.

It isn’t up on Amazon for preorder yet, but as soon as it is I’ll provide a link.  There will also be an audiobook on Audible, but I don’t know the release date for that yet.

For those of you who haven’t read Into the Storm, I wrote it so you don’t need to be familiar with the Warmachine game or universe to get into it. These books are a lot of fun to write.

  1. I just finished listening to “Into the Storm” last week when I found out that I could add the Audible to my Kindle book whenever I wanted to (instead of only at the time of purchase). I can’t wait to read this one. Hope the Audible is ready to go soon! Listening to books sure beats listening to radio ad after radio ad after radio ad on my long commute to and from work.

  2. I always wanted to get into Warmachine, but none of my friends ever wanted to play, so I didn’t 🙁 I’ve played a bit of Iron Kingdoms, though, that was fun. Given these limitations, do you think I’d be able to enjoy Into the Storm, or is my ignorance too deep at this point ?

    1. Don’t play either, but I enjoyed it. Looking forward to the lightning melon ballers this time to go with the swords.

    2. You should be fine. I wrote Into the Storm so that people unfamiliar with the universe it could serve as an easy intro.

      1. It worked. I never paid attention to Warmachine before. However, having read your other books I tried it out. Nicely done and thoroughly enjoyed both the “world” and your book.

      2. Cool, thanks, I’ll check it out !

FWIW, I just finished Son of the Black Sword, and I really liked it. Any news on the sequel ? It kinda ended on a cliffhanger… must… contain… anticipation…

I can verify that. Somehow, with all my geeky habits, I did not get into Warmachine. I did love Into the Storm anyway!

    1. I went in not knowing thing one about the setting, the technology, the magic of the world. Larry set it well enough that I can followed it quite well.
