  1. Alright, it took me 14 hours to read this book, broken up early this morning by ten solid hours of much needed sleep. I haven’t done such a thing since I read the Mr. Nightcrawler thread on THR a few months back.

    MHI is Freakin’ Awesome!

Larry, MHI lived up to the hype and then some. You did good. Damned good. I haven’t read such an enjoyable book in a long time.

There definitely need to be more Correia books in the future.

    1. 14 hours! That’s hard core even by my reader’s standards. 🙂

I’m really glad you liked it.

  2. There’s a simple explanation for this Larry — you wrote a freakin’ awesome book! I’m about 1/3 of the way through the e-book right now, and I’m thoroughly enjoying it. MHI is what “Buffy” would have been had they hired John Milius and Ted Nugent as creative consultants. You’re just going to have to accept it Larry: you rock!

Also, I have this hunch that the e-books are helping drive the paper sales a wee bit — the two seem to go hand-in-hand, especially when it comes to Baen. A lot of folks like e-books, but I’d say most of them still like to have the actual book in hand. Naturally, as soon as it hits the shelves, I’ll be at my local bookstore snapping up a copy, probably two (this one will definitely require a “loaner” copy).

    Keep up the good work!
