If anybody is in the Utah area, I’m teaching a pistol class on August 8th-9th at the FARM. Cost is $135. If you’re interested, let me know. I still have space.
Also, we’ve got a Tactical Carbine class the weekend after that. This one is going to be a pretty dang cool class. The instructor is an SF vet who’s been to every war we’ve had since Vietnam. He’s spent over 25 years teaching, including at Ft. Bragg, and the Army Sniper School. He’s an excellent instructor. If you have a carbine, and you want to learn to use it for serious business, I really recommend this class.
What time Friday and Saturday? Where is the FARM? Also, is this a beginner, advanced class?
John, Friday night from 6:00-to approx 8:30 class room time at FBMG. Saturday we meet at FBMG at 7:30 and then carpool out to the range. We’ll be out there until probably 6:00 in the afternoon.
We call it our basic class, but it isn’t what most people would think of as basic. We work on basic presentations first, malfunction clearance, different positions, shooting from cover, shooting on the move, laterally, forward and back, and diagnosing your shooting. 300 rounds is the required minimum.
What are the details for the carbine class?
Jon,
The carbine class is being taught by a 25 year SF vet. He’s a chief warrant officer, and an excellent instructor.
The carbine class has a similar time setup. Friday night class room, Saturday all day at the range. 400 rounds rifle, 100 rounds pistol. It is $200.
It is a pretty high speed class, so make sure your gun and gear works before you come.
